Job Description

Essential Functions:

* Discuss, review & implement RE portfolio strategies with VP of RE for acquisitions and dispositions in the North American RE portfolio.
* Validate space and locational requirements with the IPG Business Units and drive alignment around scope, project objectives, budget, and resource requirements to ensure delivery of benefits to business units
* Prepare data analysis and analysis summaries for incorporation into high level presentations to senior executives and management
* Work with outside legal counsel, project managers, and other professional vendor partners as needed, in preparing documentation relating to any transaction, including RFPs, Offer Letters, Letters of Intent, Lease Agreements, Amendments, Agency Agreements, project management, and design and construction documents.
* Engage in detailed, hands-on negotiation of real estate transactions through direct contact with principals and professional vendor partners and the application of a broad knowledge of real estate principles and negotiation techniques
* Build and maintain relationships with internal and external business partners
* Monitor critical dates in order to insure the timely performance of all actions required for the management of the North American portfolio

Experience, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

* 7 - 10 years of comprehensive experience in the areas of corporate real estate, design and construction, facilities, workplace and office services management
* Bachelor's degree required in related field (i.e. Business & Accounting, Real Estate Finance, Architecture / Engineering, Design & Construction)
* Practiced and familiar with principles and standards of commercial real estate transactions including strong lease negotiations skills, legal impacts, planning and design, and capital investment for construction
* Strong communications and presentation skills with a strong, knowledgeable and decisive presence
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal
* Familiarity with operating in collegial atmosphere where all opinions are valued and worthy of consideration
* Ability to manage third party professional vendors, including brokerage, legal, architectural
* Computer skills in Excel, Power Point, Microsoft Office
* Remain organized and thorough in demanding and dynamic work environment
