Your Role and Responsibilities
Oracle Tester position responsible for testing and related duties on a small, dedicated team operating within a DHS Oracle-based applications. This Test member should possess solid working knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures within testing. The position will also document, and track software defects identified through testing and work with developers and support engineers to resolve outstanding issues
Required Technical and Professional Expertise
* Experience in reviewing Functional/Technical designs and writing test scripts and test procedures is needed
* Experience with Oracle EBS and Oracle Federal Financial Systems
* Experience in managing test cases using Quality Center
* Develop and document test plans, test cases, SQL scripts, and assist in automation scripts based on user requirements, condition data (as required); primarily responsible for working with large volume of data validations using complex SQL scripts
* Develop, document, and execute regression, functional, and integration tests across various data-centric enterprise applications
* Experience of Section 508 best practices and DHS Trusted Tester certification is highly preferred
* 4+ years of overall experience as an Oracle tester
* 2+ years experience testing Oracle Financials Release 12.2.X in one or more process areas Procure to Pay (including PRISM, Mark View) CLM module, Order to cash, Budget to report, Asset to retire

Define the detailed test approach
Create and automate tests scripts using UFT/Selenium (preferred)
Document and track software failures using issue tracker
Work with developers to resolve outstanding defects
Participate in after-hours and off-peak outage windows to provide certification and testing support
Support ongoing work to automate and document QA regression testing
Work with QA team lead/manager to plan and schedule test cycle, manage health of test environments, and contribute towards continuous improvements
Knowledge of Oracle 11g/12c, test automation, regression tools, and QA test methodology
Ability to verify and test Oracle PL/SQL
Ability to interact with development team to identify and resolve defects
Ability to develop test plans and cases using business requirements
Experience with ETL Tools (Oracle Warehouse Builder, Talend, Informatica or DataStage) preferred
