The Facebook Reality Labs Product Operations team is looking for a Strategy & Operations (S&O) Manager to support strategic projects, planning, and operations for the Marketing organization, reporting to the Head of S&O for Marketing Communications. This role will have the opportunity to work across the entire FRL product portfolio.

The ideal candidate has experience in business strategy, strategic and operational planning, executive-level communication and stakeholder management. S/he is a data-driven self-starter and problem solver, who thrives in and enjoys a fast-paced, cross-functional, and impact-oriented environment. This individual relishes diverse perspectives, is not hesitant to share her/his own, and enjoys both engaging in strategic discussions and operationalizing ideas and plans. Experience with go-to-market strategy and marketing organizations is a plus, but not necessary. Interest in marketing, however, will be important, for the individual's own benefit. Given the rapid growth and pioneering work of FRL, the individual should also have an appetite for an evolving organization and thus evolving opportunity to drive strategic work and operational enhancements.

Strategy & Operations Manager, Facebook Reality Labs Responsibilities

* Identify and lead strategic initiatives with FRL Marketing leaders to advance the impact of our marketing activities, optimize operations, and scale the organization during a period of growth.

* Lead annual and half-year planning, including: facilitating goal setting and prioritization, integrating learnings to date and best practices, participating in Product Ops-wide headcount planning and budget allocation, etc.

* Enable progress on priority workstreams for the organization, e.g., advise on scope, strategy, approach, deliverables, timing, etc.

* Oversee day-to-day operational needs, which may include budgeting and forecasting, working with marketers on go-to-market strategies and execution, facilitating leadership meetings, etc.

* Partnering with cross-functional partners, particularly Finance, Data Science, Insights, and HR, on cross-reaching initiatives and operations.

Minimum Qualifications

* 8+ years of experience in management consulting, corporate strategy/business strategy/strategy & operations/business operations, planning, VC/PE, operations at a growth stage company, or equivalent

* Experience with consumer brands

* Experience with project management

* Communication skills (e.g., cross-functional meetings, compelling presentations, clear prose)

* Experience working with leadership and driving cross-functional initiatives forward

* BA/BS degree

Preferred Qualifications

* MBA or other relevant advanced degree

* Experience as Chief of Staff or primary business/S&O partner for to leadership

* Experience at the growth (scaling) stage of a company
