JOB DESCRIPTION *
JOB TITLE: Test Engineer
Job Purpose:
Designing, developing and implementing cost-effective methods of testing and troubleshooting systems and equipment. Preparing test and diagnostic programs, designing test fixtures and equipment, and defining specifications and procedures for testing new products.
Nature of Duties/Responsibilities:
* Defining and documenting test requirements
* Designing and developing functional test set H/W that will interface with LabVIEW or other GUI based S/W and/or writing automated test programs using LabVIEW/TestStand
Writing and presenting technical reports to a multifaceted tea
Effective and clear communication to management on status of projects
Collaborating in a team environment to develop new test solutions
Identifying and communicating product software and hardware design deficiencies to customers
Education/Experience:
US Citizenship
Minimum of a Bachelors Degree from an accredited College in Electrical Engineering, Information Technology or Computer Science.
5 years functional test hardware or software development.
Experience in analog and digital circuit design or LabVIEW and TestStand code development.
