Job Description

Facebook is seeking an experienced Process Engineer to standardize and process engineer operations process flows for our data center logistics programs. This person will be responsible for working closely with data center leadership and contract labor to help develop and implement simple processes to enable scalability for our data centers. This is a highly impactful position which requires excellent partnership, communication, and collaboration skills and a natural inclination towards process optimization in complex environments.

Logistics Process Engineer Responsibilities

* Develop, refine, and maintain knowledge management repositories to promulgate safe and efficient data center logistics operations

* Proactively identify process gaps, engineer processes and distribute across data center regions

* Iterate upon operation and system gaps to ensure data center and warehousing entities maintain SOX compliance, data security and safety

* Liaise and partner on behalf of data centers to headquarter teams to improve system functionalities

* Partner with regional field leads and key cross functional stakeholders in implementing best-in-class data center operations

Minimum Qualifications

* Bachelor degree in Industrial Engineering/Supply Chain Management/Information Systems or equivalent work experience

* Expertise in supply chain/logistics functions: intralogistics management, material planning, asset management, inventory management, transportation

* 5+ years experience in a Supply Chain/Logistics role managing regional or global scale logistics/operations programs, Consultant, Program Manager, or related occupation

* Experience in as-is/to-be business process mapping, gap analysis, requirements elicitation and data analysis

* Experience in cross-functional collaboration or managing partner relationships

* Work ethic and experience managing time independently

* Experience handling PM responsibilities (prioritization, planning, scheduling, status reporting)

* Experience with systems Oracle, Excel or any other analytics platforms

* Advanced experience with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and Word

Preferred Qualifications

* Masters degree in Industrial Engineering/Supply Chain Management/Information Systems, MBA or equivalent work experience

* Certifications or knowledge around Six Sigma, lean manufacturing or 5S principles

* Experience with data analytics and dashboarding platforms (i.e. SQL, R, Python, Tableau, Unidash)

* Experience in communicating to senior management level leadership
