We are the Trailhead Content & Credentialing team, and we run the publication house for Trailhead badges, superbadges, and credentials. We generate ideas, we write and edit content, we build certification exams and superbadges, we develop hands-on challenges, and we publish badges to Trailhead every week. We believe that content on Trailhead should be conversational, brief, and encouraging, and we create real world credentials to assess skills.

We are looking for a Sr. Credential Developer to build and validate industry vertical credentials.
As a Sr. Credential Developer on the Credentials team, you work closely with Salesforce's best and brightest subject matter experts, to imagine, design, develop, and implement role-based credentials as we enable and evaluate the skills of Salesforce application users.
Responsibilities
* Develop, review, and maintain credentials on topics pertaining to the administration and configuration of a Salesforce org. The credentials will evaluate performance-related skills at a topic-/domain-level and at a role-level.
* Recruit subject matter experts (SME) to collaborate on the exam development process; build and maintain an international network of Salesforce professionals to ensure SME recruitment remains on-track.
* Monitor the quality, performance, consumption, and value of the programs and assessments.
* Gather feedback from and present solutions to stakeholders.
* Develop and maintain expertise on the Salesforce platform.
* Work with localization teams to ensure content is translated correctly.

* You are fluent in the creation of role based exams that drive career growth.
* You enjoy communicating and collaborating effectively with engineers, product managers, programmers, consultants, documentation writers and the Salesforce community. As a bonus, it helps if you have a professional network that already includes MVPs and User Group owners.
* You thrive on quickly learning new products and technologies with minimal direction and have an interest in translating that knowledge into innovative assessment and educational materials.
* You are a strong team player and enjoy working with other employees and business stakeholders on a daily basis.
* You have excellent interpersonal, organizational, time management, and communication skills.
Experience/Skills Desired
* Credentials
* Degree in Exam Development, Education or Instructional Design, or work equivalent experience.
* Trailhead Ranger status within 6 months.
* Preferred: Any Salesforce Certifications, or completed 2+ Superbadges
* Content / credential development
* Experience with Salesforce applications, platform, and Community.
* 5+ years of credential development experience including Minimal Qualified Candidate (MQC) definition, Test Design Document (TDD) creation, Job Task Analysis (JTA) process, and Item Development Workshops (IDW).
* Demonstrated ability for project management and creative thinking.
* Demonstrated ability to work with engineers, consultants, product managers, and documentation writers to gather information about the features and functionalities of software products.
* Excellent presentation skills.
* Ability to read, write and comprehend technical documentation.
* Ability to research and develop personas based on a technology or feature/functionality.
