Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) organization are seeking a Joint Direct Attack Munition Chief Engineer to join the Direct Attack team based in Saint Charles, MO. As the Direct Attack Development Chief Engineer, you will be responsible for technical development of all Direct Attack development programs and future Derivatives for all domestic and international customers.

Responsibilities:

* Accountable for technical development of all Direct Attack development programs and future Derivatives for all domestic and international customers.

* Accountability for performance, quality, reliability and other technical performance measures during the development phases

* Coordinate the effort of the JDAM IPT leads to resolve technical risks and issues in a timely manner to support the development program schedule.

* Report directly to the Direct Attack Chief Engineer.

* Continued awareness of customer technical concerns and promote a positive working relationship within the program team and with the USAF customer.

This position requires an active SECRET U.S. Security Clearance. (A U.S. Security Clearance that has been active in the past 24 months is considered active). A final U.S. Secret Clearance Pre-Start is required.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills & Experience):

* Bachelor, Master or Doctorate of Science degree from an accredited course of study, in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry

* 3 + years of experience leading a diverse multi-functional team

* 3+ years experience with new development programs

* 3 + years of experience in engineering program management or technical risk management

* Current and active Secret Clearance

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

* Weapons Experience

* Supplier Engagement Experience

* Production Program Experience

Typical Education/Experience:

* Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 20 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. PhD+15 years' related work experience, Master+18 years' related work experience). In the USA, ABET accreditation is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard.

This position offers relocation based on candidate eligibility. Basic Relocation is being offered for internal candidates.
