Optum Care Medical Groupserve the communities within Orange and southern Los Angeles counties. The combined medical group is composed of 15 practices with more than 90 physicians and mid-level providers. From pediatric and adolescent medicine, to adult and senior care,Optum Care Medical Groupstrive to provide a higher level of service through our unique, patient – driven model.

This will be an on call position and on call staff can expect to work some combination of weekday, weeknight and weekend hours. This position is 24 hours / week, working on-site at the Leisure World site located in Seal Beach, CA.

Required Qualifications

ASN Degree
Current, unrestricted RN license in the State of California
2 yearsdirect care clinical experience in a primary care or urgent care clinic, hospital, acute care or home health / hospice
Must hold and maintain a current/valid California drivers license.(All Nurses will be required to drive the Optum Nurses van for patient visits)
Ability to work on-call, covering multiple shifts within 24-hours, as needed
Ability to conduct in-home patient visits within the Leisure World community, as needed
Proficient with Microsoft Word, EMR and ability to navigate a Windows environment
You will be provisioned with appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and are required to perform this role with patients and members on site, as this is an essential function of this role.
Employees are requiredto screen for symptoms using the ProtectWell mobile app, Interactive Voice Response (i.e., entering your symptoms via phone system) or a similar UnitedHealth Group-approved symptom screener prior to entering the work site each day, in order to keep our work sites safe. Employees must comply with any state and local masking orders. In addition, when in a UnitedHealth Group building, employees are expected to wear a mask in areas where physical distancing cannot be attained.
