Northrop Grumman Space Systems is seeking a Pricing Analyst 1. The selected candidate will be an integral part of the Tactical Space Systems Division Pricing and Estimating team reporting to the Pricing and Estimating Manager. The position will be located in Dulles, Virginia.
Roles and Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:
* Demonstrate a broad skill set that is balanced across interpersonal, business acumen, and proposal based capabilities; a commitment to ethics and integrity; and the capability to innovate in a challenging and dynamic environment.
* Compile cost, schedule, and technical elements in the development of proposals in accordance with Request for Proposal (RFP) specifications.
* Research and analyze historical data and develop cost models to support proposal strategy.
* Participate in should-cost and pricing reviews with management and customer representatives.
* Support risk and opportunity assessment, quantification, and analysis during the proposal process
* Support Pricing and Estimating team initiatives and continuous improvement Participate as a member of the contract negotiating team.
* Interact with other functional areas (Business Management, Contracts, Global Supply Chain, Program Management, Engineering, Manufacturing Operations, and Logistics) to develop strategies in support of proposal requirements and deadlines.
* Support fact finding, audits, customer negotiations, and proposal certifications while ensuring compliance with FAR, DFARS, and Northrop Grumman procedures during all aspects of the proposal process.

This position rsquo;s standard work schedule is a 9/80. The 9/80 schedule allows employees who work a nine-hour day Monday through Thursday to take every other Friday off.

Basic Qualifications:
* Bachelor rsquo;s Degree with experience in Pricing/Finance/Contracts/Business
* Ability to prioritize effectively and complete work timely in a deadline driven environment.
* Excellent communication and coordination skills.
* A team player that possesses excellent problem solving and organizational skills.
* Ability to analyze and develop solutions to complex issues.
* Proficient in Microsoft Office suite of tools/applications.
* Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance.
Preferred Qualifications:
Candidates with these desired skills will be given preferential consideration:
* Aerospace/defense industry and business management experience.
* Understanding of TCoPD (Truthful Cost or Pricing Data), FAR, and RFP requirements.
* Working knowledge of material pricing techniques.
* Knowledge of the Business Acquisition Process (BAP).
* Experience using ERP systems.
* Risk Analysis and S-curve/monte-carlo quantification experience.
* Current US Top Secret level security clearance.
