Haywood Regional Medical Center

Assists with orientation and onboarding of newly hired employees.

Receives, screens, and routes visitors and telephone calls. Responds to, escalates, and follows up on inquiries and problems as appropriate.

Keeps employee records up-to-date by processing employee status changes such name, address, certification, etc. in the HRIS system.

Assists with the hiring process by meeting with new hires and processing new hire documents.

Maintains certifications and licensures for new and existing employees.

Maintains job postings in the Taleo system.

Job Requirements

Minimum Education

Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management, Social Science, or related field.

Minimum Work Experience

Minimum of 1 year of professional experience in an HR department or handling HR functions.

Required Skills

Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.

Strong presentation skills (will present new hire orientation). Exceptional Excel and PowerPoint skills.
