The Honeywell Learning and Leadership Development team is looking for a Sr. Learning Specialist to deliver on our vision to developing futureshaper habits, behaviors, and skill sets super charging careers and enabling the business to build the future.

Our team exists to drive and deliver on strategic culture initiatives and leadership development experiences that enhance the Honeywell behaviors across the globe and support succession planning efforts to build a strong leadership pipeline.

We are looking for a team member for a versatile role responsible for designing, developing and executing highly interactive learning solutions (e-learning, instructor-led training, blended solutions) that target learning objectives and improve performance for our customers. Program/project manager for key learning initiatives. The Senior Learning Specialist will be responsible for managing key partner relationships that may be more complex or with multiple stakeholder groups. You will also be responsible for effective needs analysis, project management, program support, course development, facilitation skills and learning program management.

Primary Responsibilities Include:

* Develops manager level case studies, builds experiential exercises for OTJ and/or in-person development programs based on adult learning theory, and creates learnings pathways leveraging blended learning techniques

* Recommends and builds specific training solutions including method and media designed for both immediate and long-term performance improvement.

* Recommends external training material or sources when needed and works with vendors in the development and/or presentation of training.

* Presents material in-person or virtually, synchronously or asynchronously

* Expertly applies adult learning theory and instructional design best practices to

* Defined capabilities with multiple learner personas to offer scalable solutions to a global audience

* Develops measurement strategies for learning offerings

* Implement robust digital learning strategy to drive teammate and leader performance effectiveness

* Manage and design and development of learning solutions using a blended approach that includes short burst videos, instructor led, web-based self-paced, performance support, coaching verifications, etc.

* Develop project plans including resources and timelines and control project progress and quality of work to come in on time

YOU MUST HAVE:

* 5 years of Instructional Design and Instructor-Led training experience

* Minimum 5 years of professional work experience

* Capable of designing or developing L1, L2, & L3 eCourses

* Proficient in building and influencing learning journeys to achieve specific learning objectives

* Experience using a Learning Management System (LMS)

* Experience with virtual classroom training platforms (Zoom, Teams, Webex, Adobe Connect, etc.)

* Experience developing eLearning content (Articulate 360, Articulate Rise, PowToons, Doodly, etc.)

* Strong communication skills

* Building strong relationships with peers, technology partners, business leaders and executives

* Curiosity and appetite to learn new things

WE VALUE

* 1-3 years building content specific to the modern learner

* Typically a Bachelors Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 5 years of prior relevant experience Masters degree in Education, Instructional Design, Communication, Organizational Development, Human Resources or closely related field

* Proficient to expert with eLearning, video editing, audio editing, MS, emerging technologies

* Ability to work in ambiguity and navigate in a highly matrixed environment

* Individuals who are self-motivated and able to work independently
