Job Role Summary
ExxonMobil is currently seeking Instrument and Analyzer Intern personnel to work at its Billings Refinery located in Bilings, MT. Instrument and Analyzer Interns will gain experience in troubleshooting, repairing, and installing electronic controllers, transmitters, control valves, regulators, analyzers, and various other electric/pneumatic devices. The job involves working at heights and working outdoors in all weather conditions.
* Work schedule is day shift Monday Thursday.
* ANTICIPATED START DATE: JUNE 21, 2021
This Operations and Mechanical (O&M) position requires a pre-employment assessment. After applying applicants will receive the Phase I Online Assessment via email. Applicants MUST complete the pre-employment assessment by Friday, April 16, 2020 @ 11:59 PM CST. Please check all email folders (inbox, spam, etc.) for this communication. After accessing the assessment applicants will get one of the following actions/messages:
* Applicants with no or expired assessment results will be delivered the assessment exam

* Assessment results are valid for 365 days and applicants MUST wait the mandatory year before retesting for U.S. Operations and Mechanical job postings that require the pre-employment assessment.
* Applicants that apply to multiple positions MUST map assessment results to each application submitted.
* Applicants are responsible for any out-of-pocket expenses incurred during the pre-employment process (e.g. airfair, hotel, relocation, etc.).

Job Role Responsibilities
* Shadow and assist Instrument and Analyzer Technicians.
* Safely perform duties with strict adherence to procedures, use of personal protective equipment (PPE), and company policy.
* Ownership of personal safety and safety of co-workers and community.
Job Requirements
* Must be enrolled at City College in the Instrument and Electrical Technician Degree Program.
* Must be at least 18 years of age.
* Possess valid drivers license.
* Able and willing to work outside in all weather conditions.
* Able and willing to work at heights above 25 feet.
* Able and willing to work in remote locations and in a team environment.
Preferred Knowledge/Skills/Abilities (KSA's)
* Basic electrical and instrumentation theory
* Computer proficient.
