* Job Summary:
* Under the direction of a Registered Nurse, the Telemetry Monitor Technician performs duties directly on a nursing unit and is responsible for the continuous monitoring, interpretation, communication, and documentation of cardiac rhythm and rhythm components.
* Education:

* Registration/Certification/Licensure:
* Basic Cardiac Arrhythmias
* Experience:
* Position requires 0-6 months related experience.
* Other Requirements:
* Maintains unit-specific and hospital competencies, mandatory learning, and any clinical certifications required in accordance with the Staff Education and Training policy GA-057 and/or any other department requirements.

More recent advances, like the state-of-the art diagnostic imaging and the new, integrated information system completed in 2016, make it possible to provide even better care for you. In the fall of 2016, our Mobile Health Center took its first trip – traveling to underserved areas of our county – to bring local residents essential primary care and preventive services.
