Position Purpose

The LPN participates in the implementation and phone evaluation of patient care for the procedural and surgical patient. Strong customer service and phone skills in interviewing patients preoperatively. Strong skills in reconciling medications, Calling patients for their pre-op screening and instructions for day of procedure, Prep patient in pre op with an IV start/COVID testing/and gowning , Assist patients with discharge out to vehicle . Assist with outpatient blood draws, Other duties as assigned, Performs a variety of tasks. Works under general supervision.

Position Qualifications/Minimum Requirements

Education:

Required: Post High School Vocational/Specialized Training in Practical Nursing (LPN)

Experience: Clinical experience in area of expertise preferred.

Current Arizona LPN license
