The successful candidate will participate in the pricing/underwriting activities of RFPs (Requests for Proposals) and will acquire a breadth of knowledge in all financial / operational aspects of our business. Primary Responsibilities:

* Support overall effort to win new business and retain current clients
* Determine pricing for the various products and services we offer, customized for each individual case using a variety of forecast models
* Leverage business knowledge to propose solutions to business problems regularly in a dynamic work environment
* Evaluate and recommend alternative pricing options and plan design changes based on economic analyses and trends
* Assess the risk of pricing guarantees offered
* Collaborate with the Sales, Client Management, Proposals and Legal teams to project pricing and profit for a range of services and products the company offers
* Gather, summarize and analyze detailed data
* Validate renewals and request for proposals for accuracy
* Produce clear, well-formatted reports that communicate a clear, compelling message for their stakeholders

Required Qualifications:

* Bachelor's degree in Business, Math, Finance, Accounting or related field
* Financial or Analytical experience (academic or professional)
* Intermediate proficiency with MS Excel
* Intermediate proficiency with MS Office product suite
* You will be asked to perform this role in an office setting or other company location
* Employees are required to screen for symptoms using the ProtectWell mobile app, Interactive Voice Response (i.e., entering your symptoms via phone system) or a similar UnitedHealth Group-approved symptom screener prior to entering the work site each day, in order to keep our work sites safe. Employees must comply with any state and local masking orders. In addition, when in a UnitedHealth Group building, employees are expected to wear a mask in areas where physical distancing cannot be attained

Preferred Qualifications:

* Pricing experience
* Work collaboratively and influence across a matrix environment to drive revenue enhancement and expense management initiatives
* Healthcare or pharmaceutical background
