About the Job
As an Account Executive Sourcing and Recycling person (AE-Sourcing for short), you will sell Waste Management recycling services to large, complex accounts, and will also maintain and retain a book of business. We anticipate a 70 / 30 split, where youll spend 70% of your time hunting down and closing new business opportunities, and 30% of your time farming current accounts, managing and retaining them.

In the recycling world, the typical sales script is flipped in that we are paying the customer to secure their recyclable material instead of them paying us. Were procuring tons (literally) of material, whether its cardboard, plastic, metal, or paper, and then processing it through our local Material Recovery Facilities (MRFs). Finally, we sell the re-purposed product on the back-end to the international market. Since were targeting so much material at a time (again, tons), our typical client will be large manufacturing facilities, industrial complexes, and distributorships. Some examples include aerospace, food distributors, and shredders.

You will match WMRA (Recycle America) recycling services with customer needs by demonstrating knowledge of customers, pricing and competition. You will effectively communicate pricing and service strategies, as well as proactively engage other Waste Management business opportunities, referring internally as appropriate.

About You (The Ideal Candidate)
While you will manage some accounts, we want you to be a HUNTER at heart. You are an accomplished sales person. You are adept at infiltrating an organization to uncover the key decision makers and can strategically create a wonderful partnership with them, creating value on both sides. Youre motivated to not only achieve your goal, but to exceed it in whatever way possible. You have a relentless, never say die attitude and you love a good challenge. And, oh yes, you want to make some money while doing it!

About our Minimum Requirements
At a minimum, you will need to have a Bachelor's Degree (accredited) or in lieu of a degree, a High School Diploma or GED (accredited) coupled with 5 years of sales experience. With a Bachelors Degree, youll need to have 3 years of business-to-business (B2B) sales experience (in addition to the education requirement), which means that youve cold called and prospected via phone and in-person in order to obtain customer appointments.

About our Preferred Requirements
Wed prefer that you have extensive B2B sales experience specifically in a hunter capacity. This is a major account rep type of role, which means that its a step up from your typical outside sales position. As such, youll be an accomplished sales rep, with many accolades to show for it. Youll easily be able to highlight your achievements and successes and should be proud to share them! Also, youll be able to navigate a CRM tool pretty easily and if its Salesforce.com, then were in business!

About What We Will Offer You
Well provide you with a competitive salary and incentive plan that will motivate you to sell. The plan is uncapped, which should absolutely excite you! While youre going through training, a portion of your target incentive compensation (target commissions) will be guaranteed as you ramp up (which is pretty awesome!).

Youll receive a top-notch benefits package, including Medical, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance and Short and Long Term Disability. You can participate in our Employee Stock Purchase Program (ESPP), a fantastic company match on 401K (4.5% with NO vesting period), and more! Youll also receive Paid Vacation, Holidays, and Personal Days.

About Next Steps
If this is a match made in heaven, then what are you waiting for?! Apply online right now! Make sure to upload your resume and include reasons why youve left past positions in the details of your application. We will review your application and if youre a fit, we will absolutely reach out to you!
