The Threat Analyst for the Americas is part of the Global Physical Security (GPS) team and is tasked with conducting threat assessments for employee travel, events, and in support of SAP's Threat Management/Workplace Violence Prevention Program in the Americas. You will function as a threat assessment and research expert and collaborate with Crisis Management, Travel Security, Field Operations, and Protective and Event Security personnel to ensure the consistent application of threat management practices are followed. You will monitor global events that could impact our international operations. This will involve the use of open source information, media, commercial software platforms, and third-party resources. You will analyze and assess events to determine potential impact to SAP personnel, facilities, product or brand. You will leverage Structured Professional Judgment tools to conduct assessments and mitigate targeted workplace violence. In addition, you will assess and provide recommendations on emerging Open Source Intelligence (OSINT) tactics, techniques and procedures, conduct social network analysis, develop privacy guides, and prepare and present findings and recommendations, in the form of briefings, reports, or dashboards to GPS leadership.

Details:

-Perform threat assessment and threat management activities of physical security threats in accordance with SAP standards and procedures.

-Rapidly identify, categorize and prioritize assigned threats using threat assessment tools/matrixes.

-Investigate, interpret, and respond to complex and diverse security threats in a timely manner.

-Execute threat escalation processes as necessary.

-Document analysis results, ensuring relevant details are included.

-Document security threats assessed and investigated utilizing a case management system.

-Ensure familiarity with department standards and protocols.

Experience and Education:

-**Fluency (written and verbal) in Spanish.**

-Bachelors degree plus 5 years of experience or Associates degree plus 7 years of experience.

-OSINT experience.

-Excellent communication/analytical/problem-solving skills.

-Technical aptitude.

-*Must live on the east coast, no relcoation*
