UnitedHealth Group's R&D efforts are driven by math, data, and clinical science, but also focus on the human connections required to understand and treat the chronic diseases that afflict nearly half of the world's population. To do so, our team tracks the latest in science, technology, and clinical care - including what we can learn from our own data. We then apply these things via research studies, clinical trials, and pilot programs that identify new ways to prevent, detect, and intercept disease for our members.

UnitedHealth Group R&D is working on developing strategic application platform using latest technologies. The application platform includes building platform and business capabilities in a reusable architecture to increase synchronization across teams and to increase the compounding effect that reusable services can have on the organization. We'll be building with the latest technologies like Microsoft Azure, React, .NET Core 3.1 and many others.

You'll enjoy the flexibility to telecommute* from anywhere within the U.S. as you take on some tough challenges.

Primary Responsibilities:

* Developing and supporting the platform which will be consumed by many strategic businesses
* Be a contributor in designing, coding, and supporting the capabilities which are aligned to the objectives of UnitedHealth Group R&D

Required Qualifications:

* 3+ years of experience with full stack development in .NET (.NET core)
* 2+ years of REST API experience
* 2+ years of experience working with relational databases
* 2+ years of Agile delivery experience
* 1+ years of experience development / maintaining CI/CD pipelines
* 1+ years of React framework experience
* Experience developing for a deploying with Azure App Services, Azure Functions, Event Grid
* Employees are required to screen for symptoms using the ProtectWell mobile app, Interactive Voice Response (i.e., entering your symptoms via phone system) or a similar UnitedHealth Group-approved symptom screener prior to entering the work site each day, in order to keep our work sites safe. Employees must comply with any state and local masking orders. In addition, when in a UnitedHealth Group building, employees are expected to wear a mask in areas where physical distancing cannot be attained

Preferred Qualifications:

* Experience Cloud technologies with Azure preferred
* Strong communication and problem-solving experience
* Experience delivering software using an Agile / Scrum methodology
* Ability to work in a fast paced, fluid environment while maintaining adherence to standards and best practices

Colorado Residents Only: The salary range for Colorado residents is $79,700 to $142,600.
