Job Summary:

This position can sit in Burbank, CA or New York, New York.

On behalf of the DMED streaming divisions, the theatrical studio team, and all Disney broadcast and cable networks, it is the investment teams responsibility to increase media efficiency and grow revenue via deeper media vendor partnerships, advanced analytics, internal synergy analysis, and sharing of data and cross-divisional communication on marketing effectiveness. Media Investment will work directly with media vendors and in conjunction with agencies, research, and internal marketing teams, to ensure business growth and financial benefit for The Walt Disney Company.

The Manager of Media Investment will play an important role in our new media investment organization. This includes: working on DMED linear and digital investment strategies, digital and marketing analytics, and agency management. The ideal candidate possesses outstanding organizational skills and the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines. Must enjoy working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. Proven ability to handle a high-volume workload with a can do attitude.
Responsibilities:

* Assist senior management in upfront process (linear & digital), digital and marketing analytics, and agency management
* Be an advocate for your divisions (TBD) in the new DMED buying organization ensuring your divisions receive significant benefit from DMEDs collective buying power
* Create expanded upfront deals with key current division media partners
* Assist in planning, implementation and learnings in digital attribution analytics and leverage knowledge to improve ROI across DMED
* Partner with media planners from across DMED to share new tactics, strategies and best practices for learning and implementation
* Seek, create and recommend new investment strategies/partners that garner greater value for your dedicated divisions
* Stay on top of industry trends, ad products, and consumer behaviors to inform how divisions can incorporate new technologies and partners into campaigns
* Work with Assistant on scheduling meetings and internal statuses, providing agendas and recaps for larger team

Basic Qualifications:

* Bachelors Degree
* 5+ years relevant media experience
* Media buying, Media planning and/or strategy experience
* TV Network, streaming, or entertainment experience
* Ability to help create new processes and work flow on the DMED team
* Proficient in Microsoft tools
* Project management skills/experience
* Collaboration skills
* Outstanding communication, organizational, analytical and problem-solving skills
* Flexibility and ability to work in a fast paced and dynamic environment
* Strong communication skills with a can-do, positive attitude and a desire to get things done
* Ability to be a collaborative team player who can inspires others to develop and execute new ideas
