Within the Quality organization of the Chelmsford, MA facility, we are seeking a skilled Quality Control Microbiology Senior Technician who will be motivated by this exciting opportunity for a capable technician to help our workstream teams meet the fast-growing needs of our clients.

What will you do?

Supporting the Quality Organization, the Quality Control Microbiology Senior Technician will:

* Support daily lab activities in a BSL-2 lab
* Perform bioburden and endotoxin testing on bioproduction and water samples
* Environmental Monitoring of manufacturing and QC labs.
* Use excellent aseptic technique in sample handling, testing and disposal
* Adhere to in-house processes and procedures while maintaining compliance to ISO 13485 standards.
* Quickly identify issues that must be escalated to management
* Maintain incubator temperature logs, Biosafety cabinets PMs and instruments calibrations
* Maintain laboratory environment cleanliness and usability
* Identify and drive completion of improvement opportunities
* Review data for completeness and accuracy

How will you get here?

Education and Experience

* Associate2019s or equivalent degree from accredited college/university in relevant scientific discipline with 2+ years of related Quality Control experience in a Microbiology lab.
* * Bachelor2019s or equivalent degree from accredited college/university in relevant scientific discipline
* Must be able to work safely with chemicals, biologics and hazardous material

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities

* Read, understand and follow written procedures exactly
* Skilled with aseptic technique
* Ability to deliver exact volumes using manual and electronic pipets
* Understanding of bioburden and endotoxin methodology
* Knowledge of Quality standard (e.g., ISO 13485, FDA, ICH) guidelines.
* Familiarity with SAP, Agile, E1, LIMS or other electronic data/document management systems is a plus.
* Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
* Flexibility to adapt to a dynamic environment and adjust activities to meet the needs of the business while maintaining a focus on Quality.
* Excellent inter-personal, communication and organizational skills with good attention to detail.
