POSITION PURPOSE
Coordinates movement of product through warehouse and sort. Schedule assigned areas of: Sort, Bag, Package, Paint and Bulk package. Assists Inventory Analyst in maintaining accurate inventory levels in above assigned areas.

PRINCIPAL ACTIVITIES
PRODUCT DESTINATION COORDINATION
1. Does receiving of and verifies all outside service product. 2. Determines product destination (further operations, sort, package, bulk, bag and paint) of product by reviewing customer needs and current inventory levels. 3. Communicates destination of product to warehouse leadperson.
SCHEDULING
1. Schedules all parts through assigned areas.
A. Prioritize schedule by reviewing customer ship dates and maintaining efficiency of area.
B. Review schedules to ensure product is moving as scheduled through the warehouse or sort.
C. Recommend resolutions of bottlenecks and other constraints to appropriate personnel.
D. Advise appropriate personnel when production falls behind or when potential for late deliveries exists.
E. Determine and provide ship dates to the Sales Department by evaluating the ability for break-ins and schedule modification.
F. Recommends overtime needs in assigned areas to ensure customer delivery requirements are maintained.
G. Notifies appropriate personnel if schedules may not be maintained.
H. Determines alternate routings for expedited shipments.

Performs duties as requested by the Supervisor or Leadperson.
Must be available to work overtime as needed.
INVENTORY MAINTENANCE
1. Assists the Inventory Analyst in evaluating and determining
the need for inventory adjustments in assigned area.
2. Review MRP Planned Order Reports to determine and ensure
adequate levels of inventory to meet ship requirements.
3. Makes adjustments and assists with the planning and setup of
new and existing parts.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
Required:
1. High School Diploma or GED.
2. Strong communication skills.
2. Strong organizational abilities.
3. Knowledge of warehouse or sort operation. (Product flow and
capabilities).
4. Knowledge of freight vendor schedule and abilities.
5. Basic fastener knowledge.
6. Knowledge of IATF16949 and ISO14001 requirements.

Preferred:

1. Knowledge of product line.
