Position Description

To provide strategic human resources support to assigned Manufacturing Leaders in the West Point (WP), Pennsylvania (PA) site. The incumbent will also serve on key Human Resources (HR) initiatives supporting strategic business goals across West Point and our Manufacturing Division.

Major Responsibilities:

* Provide HR and executive coaching support to specified senior leaders in assigned client groups.

* Provide Labor Relations support (e.g. investigations, contract administration, grievances, arbitrations, negotiations, special projects, etc.) for assigned client areas and the West Point, PA site to ensure business objectives are met in a contract compliant manner.

* Lead talent management and organizational alignment activities within client group.

* Coach Leaders and members of Leadership teams to successfully manage all annual people management processes (performance management, talent management, compensation planning, etc.).

* Provide leadership to critical HR initiatives across the WP site and/or our Manufacturing Division.

* Serve as a member of our Manufacturing Division WP site extended leadership team

* Collaborates with Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) peers and client groups across the organization, to ensure that where business strategies and employee issues overlap, there is a consistent approach to resolving issues and alignment in seeking a common solution.

Position Qualifications:

* Bachelors degree in Human Resources, Labor Relations or related field.

Required Experience and Skills:

* At least 5 years of relevant HR experience including prior HR Business Partner, Employee Relations, Labor Relations or other related HR experience.

* Demonstrated ability to build relationships and influence clients. Knowledge of employment legal practices / policies.

* Ability to work effectively in a matrix organization. Excellent communication skills. Demonstrated ability to work independently.

Preferred Experience and Skills:

* Graduate degree in Human Resources, Labor Relations or related field.

* A minimum of 2 years of previous HR Business Partner or Labor Relations experience preferred.
