Reporting to the Director of Product Marketing in the Digital Marketing team in Surface Commercial. This is a key role in driving efficacy across our high-investment programs, leading cross group collaboration and is a trusted advisor to managers within the larger business group. This Product Marketing Manager role will be responsible for leading the program strategy across the global lead gen programs.
* Lead the Surface Commercial marketing relationship with the commercial marketing organization and the integration across the teams.
* Lead and orchestrate ROB activities for the global lead gen programs, including quarterly & monthly business reviews, produce Field and Internal communications, and present at regular leadership sessions.
* Focus on new customer engagement through the funnel, leveraging the marketing platforms of the global marketing organization.
* Engage with the Field teams monthly to provide the global program insights, support the lead flow initiative, provide insights and strategy on customer re-engagement.
* Using data analytics tools and leveraging in-house data teams, drive the development of and rigour around performance analysis and development of insights. Drive optimization conversations with the teams
* Lead the discussions across the company data platforms that will improve and progress the Surface data capture, reporting and insights to inform the commercial customer journey.
* Support and participate in strategic initiatives or cross-group projects contributing to the overall channel strategy with data insights. In partnership with the Marketing Lead, create and implement plans and develop success metrics and communication approach for these initiatives and projects.
* 4 or more years of experience in product marketing or business operations in roles of impact and autonomy based on data work and insights.
* Detail oriented & thorough, with ability to think big picture and understand the key trends and levers that drive Microsoft's Surface business.
* Working knowledge and familiarity of Microsoft ROB process, MS Sales and other financial and business operations tools is ideal.
* Experience in working with large and complex data sets; track record of the translation of data into actionable insights.
* Experience with connecting data insights to data driven business insights and program recommendations.
* Strong project management and organization skills that are exercised both within the team and across teams.
* Exceptional verbal/written communication and presentation skills. Ability to simplify complex ideas into easily understandable concepts for communications.
* Collaborative, positive, proactive, tenacious, can-do approach.
* Highly resourceful, self-driven individual with the ability to partner, execute, and lead through influence by leveraging your extensive interpersonal and collaboration skills.
