Job Description:
The Subcontract Manager is an essential member of the EW Subcontracts / Supply Chain Management team. The Subcontract Manager is responsible for managing end-to-end lifecycle of subcontracts and is responsible for solicitations, fact finding, sourcing, documentation, negotiations, cost/price analysis, terms and conditions negotiations, and subcontract execution. The Subcontract Manager is the main point of contact between suppliers and program teams and provides all contractual direction.
Essential Functions:
* Supply market analysis, solicitations, fact finding & source selection.
* Management of Suppliers to meet all PO requirements including cost, schedule, quality, and DMS requirements as well as risk mitigation steps.
* Management and reporting of major subcontracts to leadership teams
* Perform Cost/Price Analysis, develop negotiation strategies, lead negotiations.
* Terms and Conditions Negotiations.
* Statement of Work Evaluation.
* Proposal fact-finding and analysis.
* Award and execute contracts and contract modifications.
* Manage supplier performance and scorecards.
Qualifications:
* Bachelor's Degree and minimum 6 years of prior relevant experience. Graduate Degree and a minimum of 4 years of prior related experience.
* Experience managing major subcontracts in support of government program(s)
* Experience negotiating price as well as terms & conditions

* Working knowledge of FAR/DFARs.

* Knowledge and experience with LEAN principles.

* PeopleSoft, Control (Cincom).
* Sig Sigma Certification.
* PMP Certified.
