Job Description:
L3Harris Link Training & Simulation is seeking an experienced F-16 maintenance technician with experience as a maintenance technician instructor to train the use of advance training solutions in support of F-16 maintenance training.
Essential Functions:
* Support the design and development of an F-16 maintainer course to instruct the proper use of a computer-based trainer (CBT) to be used in F-16 maintenance classroom instruction.
* Conduct classroom training using the CBT for F-16 Propulsion, Electrical and Power, ECS, and Pneumatics/Hydraulics Systems
* Manage on-site classroom training activities as related to the conduct of the applicable training courses.
* Provide feedback on student performance
* Assist programs and monitor program execution throughout product development lifecycle to ensure training objectives are met
Qualifications:
* B.S. with 5+ years of professional experience or 10 years in similar career field.
* 5+ years of experience with the F-16 weapons system .
* 5 + years of experience as a craftsman-level maintenance technician (USAF 7-skill level equivalent) in a like aircraft system, and specialty on the F-16 weapon system.
* A minimum of five years' experience in the respective specialty on the F-16 is required.
* Must have the experience, skills and communication skills necessary to provide a thorough understanding of the F-16 maintenance training course objectives.
* Ability to travel 50% of the time.
Preferred Additional Skills:
* Instructing and managing training courses in a foreign military environment
* Ability to instruct and promote best instructional practices and teaching methods
* Proven record of developing, validating, and managing instructional material in a large production environment
* Relevant experience within the last 5 years on the F-16 Block 50/52 aircraft.
