This is a commissioned sales position.
Responsible for Influencing and advocating Intel-based products and solutions for all of Intel's Business units through a vertically oriented, solutions-led approach to Business and IT.
The Industry Technical Specialist is the technical counterpart to the Account Executive, and is responsible for ensuring that all technical and architectural needs of our covered accounts are understood and that we are working with the customer, our business units teams and our partners to develop technically advanced solutions that help solve our customer business problem and that create significant pull for Intel's products and solutions.
A successful candidate will demonstrate:
Understanding of and business relationships with Original Equipment Manufacturers, (OEM) and or Original Device Manufacturers (ODM) partners and the ecosystem who services customers in this segment.
Willingness to occasionally travel for customer engagements and events.
Qualifications
You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor of Science degree in a relevant technical background or related field
2+ years of experience or knowledge with:
* Current trends in the enterprise segment, including Data Center and Network Transformation, Storage, Networking, Artificial Intelligence, OR public cloud, etc.
* IT or Cloud Data Center infrastructure, including server & storage platforms, Virtualization, AI and Analytics.
2+ years of working knowledge of IT software deployment methodologies, including workload optimization and modernization.
Preferred Qualifications
2+ years of experience preferably with direct experience helping enterprise customers migrate workloads from on-prem or colo to public cloud.
