The datacenter architecture leadership team at Intel is seeking senior architects to build the next gen datacenter SoCs and Products. As a successful candidate, you must possess:
* Deep knowledge of Client or Server SOCs and embedded controller usages
* Fundamentals of Embedded controllers (thru development or validation or architecture) is highly desired
* Ability to formulate architectural requirements into design and validation friendly solutions with clear communication and active engagement through the product life cycle
* Hands on design and/or validation experience on Complex SOCs (Specifically System Verilog, C/C++ embedded FW development, Pre-si and/or Post-si debug)
* Must know fundamentals of PCIe Device architecture and operation
* Knowledge of Platform and SOC Security is highly desired
* Knowledge of low speed IOs such as SPI, eSPI, SMBUS, UART is highly desired
* High level Knowledge of Platform/Si boot to OS handoff or a deep understanding of any one of the phases is a plus
Qualifications
You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree, Master's degree or Phd in Electrical Engineer, Electronics and Communications Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field.
* 4+ years of strong SOC architectural experience (experience can also be through design and validation roles), including direct experience with server or client processors
* 2+ years of experience with product security intricacies, any two of the platform-facing functions (Low speed IOs, BIOS/CPU interactions or Boot/Reset interactions with the platform)
Preferred Qualifications:
* 2+ years of SOC architecture and its interaction with server/client platform
