Job Description
Our business is a key focus area for TI and is in a segment where the market is fast growing. We are looking for a Systems Engineer excited to grow our revenue, innovative, willing take an active role in product definition for GaN devices and execute the project until release.
Key responsibilities include
* Work with customers, sales teams, applications and design engineers to identify, and propose new GaN products.
* Define business case, value proposition, competitive analysis for proposed device and present it to management
* Write detailed technical documents
* Collaborate with marketing and applications to define customer support collateral for target applications
* Understand competitors' products and solutions and analyze trends in the GaN market (new applications, architecture, customer struggles) to be applied to product definition
Basic Qualifications
* Experience in product definition of analog power products, preparing business case and presenting it to management. Must be able to balance and bring together customer requirements within the product definition
* Must have a very strong power background and be able to produce high quality technical documentation (i.e. data sheets). Experience in high voltage/high power applications is a plus.
* Understanding of wide bandgap semiconductors and their applications
* Understanding of packaging technologies related to high voltage/high power applications
* Able to establish and maintain close relationships with key customers and key field teams
