Assembly Trainer
Department: Assembly
Reports to: Assembly Supervisor

We currently have an opening for a dynamic individual to join our team as an Assembly Trainer at our Fort Mill, SC location.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Responsible for all assigned tasks relating to training and supporting the assembly line.
* Maintain new employees in the training database and update work instructions
* Conduct training of new employees, new positions, new lines, and retrain when necessary
* Comply with safety instructions (PPE) and guidelines all the time
* Assemble parts according the standard process (WI)
* Communicate timely regarding quality, equipment, safety issues to line leader
* Comply with Environmental & Health guidelines at all times
* Comply with internal regulations
* Fill quality reports on time
* Backfill associates on the line when needed
* Label all scrap, rework and SA units correctly
* Help setup the lines and get them started on time every morning
* Help to maintain 5Ss in the line
* Help with the change over
EDUCATION AND/OR WORK EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
* High School diploma or equivalent is acceptable
EMPLOYEE SPECIFICATIONS (KEY RESULTS EXPECTED FROM THIS POSITION IN THE FIRST 6-12 MONTHS):
* Able to ID, explain and correct defects; read pass/fail gauge, and no disciplinary action for quality
* Able to rework defective materials
* Team oriented and proactive
* Ability to maintain a safe and clean work environment
* Capable to manage screwdriver, pneumatic press, hydraulic press, packaging operations
* Good communication skills both written and verbal
* Comply with all work instructions as determined by ISO standards
* Must be able to read, write, and speak English fluently
