About the Role

This position is based either in Richardson, TX or Northridge, CA and within HARMAN's Professional Solutions Division, collaborating with product management, global and regional marketing, business development and executive stakeholders to create global marketing strategies and subsequent tactics for global marketing initiatives and deliverables. This position oversees a team of project managers, content producers, digital marketers and internal/external agencies.

The position has 4 direct reports.
What You Will Do

* Partner with GPLMs for Audio, Lighting, Video and Control to create global marketing strategies to support their business and revenue goals.
* Translate marketing strategies into actionable global marketing plans and deliverables.
* Manage and execute global go-to-market strategies for new product launches and global initiatives across all product categories.
* Build and maintain brand integrity, clear positioning and deliver a consistent message and brand experience across all customer touchpoints including corporate/channel, regional, and end-users.
* Align with regional heads of marketing to ensure marketing program objectives, plans, and assets are well communicated and understood.
* Engage, inspire and excite the organization around the brand vision, value proposition and strategies so they are clear in bringing them to life in their areas of functional expertise and regions.
* Develop and implement process to improve communication, workflow, and content management with the global marketing and regional teams, improving the quality and timeliness of content distribution, language translation, localized content, marketing automation, and the lead management process.
* Develop and implement lead capture and nurturing strategies through the integration of web UX, CRM and marketing automation/ESP systems.
* Invent unique, high impact ideas for branding, advertising campaigns and marketing messages that can be utilized in multi-channel campaigns.
* Evolve the global web presence, enhancing mobile capabilities, ecommerce product promotions, and user experience.
* Assess and refine the customer journey to drive strategic priorities and promotional activities.
* Drive creative direction and oversee concepts for print, digital and promotional materials. Manage approvals for creative by internal stakeholders.
* Acquire and utilize customer insights that enable the brands to understand target markets, develop the right marketing assets, communicate relevant brand attributes, maximize messaging, and understand purchasing habits.
* Build annual plans to manage marketing budgets and determine the appropriate allocation of funds to strengthen the brand, drive awareness, and generate demand.
* Manage projects and budget of internal and external agencies and freelancers across multiple locations globally.
* Manage, mentor and inspire a team of marketers and agencies across multiple locations in the US, using a supportive and collaborative approach, providing leadership to include career development, business strategy, constructive course correction, and promoting broad cross-team collaboration
* Promote a culture of high performance and continuous improvement that values learning and a commitment to quality.

What You Need

* Undergraduate degree with MBA in business or marketing
* 15+ years' relevant experience in in-house marketing and/or agency required.
* 10+ years' experience managing employees and teams.
* Professional audio experience a must.
* Demonstrated record of success across a variety of marketing disciplines
* Ability to work on multiple projects with varying deadline structures simultaneously
* Excellent written, analytical and communications skills
