Facebooks Global Business Marketing team is seeking an experienced, savvy, and energetic marketing expert, who is passionate about ensuring that the digital ecosystem, through delivering personal advertising, continues to create value for businesses of all sizes around the world through advanced, privacy-safe, and future-looking approaches to advertising and data. The successful candidate will lead our marketing efforts to educate the industry and advocate for digital marketing solutions that benefit people, businesses, and society. The ideal candidate will have strong perspectives on the digital advertising industry, and be able to navigate the organization and create marketing POVs, narratives, and messaging to drive progress. This person will have the ability to inspire with simple, powerful stories, and collaborate with cross-functional partners such as Policy, Legal and Product. They will be a strategic thinker, a storyteller, an influencer, and a proactive self-starter with a track record of resilience under pressure.

Business Marketing Manager, Ads Ecosystem and Signals Responsibilities

* Drive the marketing strategy to educate the industry and advocate for digital marketing solutions that create safe and meaningful experiences for people and businesses

* Develop progressive marketing approaches to inspire the industry, and businesses

* Collaborate with cross-functional partners (e.g., Industry Marketing, Events, Industry Team, Global Customer Marketing, Comms, Digital) on opportunities to leverage and scale work via major marketing moments, campaigns and channels to reach relevant audiences

* Partner with global cross-functional teams, including business product marketing, sales, and PR and policy, to advance goals

* Stay abreast of breaking news, geopolitics and technology trends in the advertising industry

* Ability to thrive in a rapid, ambiguous and high-pressure environment

Minimum Qualifications

* BA/BS degree in marketing, business, communications, journalism or similar

* 12+ years experience in marketing or advertising, positioning and messaging including account planning, strategic planning, communications planning in advertising agencies, marketing organizations, or industry associations

* Knowledge and energy about progress in the digital advertising industry landscape

* Experience inspiring people with simple, powerful stories

* Project management experience and prioritization skills

* Communication and presentation experience

* Experience balancing multiple projects in a highly matrixed organization
