Job Summary

Lead multiple analysis projects associated with making recommendations for changes to internal processes and/or standards/specifications in order to create more efficient and economical operations for business areas. Provide leadership on multiple concurrent projects to evaluate, prioritize, scope, and meet objectives to improve efficiency and effectiveness within the entire business unit without jeopardizing reliability, availability, or safety. Develop understanding and sponsorship for projects at their startup; bring projects to closure while meeting customer expectations and agreeing on handoff for implementation.

Lead activities of matrixed, cross-functional project teams; develop and communicate business cases to support recommendations; and, monitor the progress associated with the implementation of recommended changes. Oversee, develop, and effectively apply standard methodology, templates, and tools for business process improvement projects including automated methods and systems to track workflow and performance efficiencies. Prepare, analyze, and present financial case studies for a business process. Define and develop performance metrics; analyze and recommend data collection process improvements; and ensure data integrity as it relates to reporting and analytics. Provide leadership and training to co-workers.

Required Knowledge, Skills, Abilities & Experience

7+ years of related experience. (Note: A Master's degree will count as one year towards the experience requirement. A partial year of six months or more experience will be rounded up to one full year of experience).

Business Process and Performance Analysis: Experience developing and utilizing business information and data to establish relevant business metrics, key performance indicators (KPIs), and program measures, within a security, law enforcement, military, intelligence community, or national security environment, to inform, aid, and advise program leadership in decision making, to drive security objectives, and identify and fill business and security gaps. Ability to effectively communicate relevant business process and performance data by way of dashboarding and other means, and make quantitatively based strategic recommendations in support of program management efforts for the purposes of achieving maximum operational efficiencies. Experience working cross programmatically with data analysts, information technology and CIO professionals, operational personnel, and others, to understand program needs, establish requirements, and drive execution of novel solutions to increase performance.

Platform/Process Integration: Ability to research and audit business operations in a team environment and lead the collective creation of requirements and recommendations to develop more effective processes and business improvement solutions. Experience collaborating cross-functionally to integrate disparate technology, tools, platforms, data sets, and software solutions, to systematically consolidate security-related platforms for the purpose of greater optimization, simplicity, and achieving logical synergies.

Project Management: Possessing knowledge, skills, and abilities in business processes, workflow analysis, and business analytics, to effectively identify solutions and strategies for increased business performance. Experience project managing the implementation of process and performance solutions in a team environment from inception to completion to include use of project tracking tools and methodologies to drive successful project completion and business improvements.

Financial Analysis: Experience and expertise evaluating and financially analyzing multi-million dollar budgets within a security, law enforcement, military, intelligence community, or national security environment, and making recommendations to business unit leaders and executive management on over-the-horizon budget needs, issues, or concerns. Ability to identify and utilize business data to forecast budget needs and potential resource challenges.

Executive Briefing: Experience developing top-caliber executive-level briefing documents. Ability to confidently provide oral briefings and reports to company officers/executives and business leaders, on security plans and programs to set forth a business case in justifying recommended strategies. Excellent written and oral communications skills.

Training: Experience developing and writing polices, plans, and procedures for business/program operations, and crafting training curriculums within a security, law enforcement, military, intelligence community, or national security environment. Ability to aggregate security training requirements into a comprehensive security training program.

Resource Planning: Experience with resource planning methodologies and programs which utilize supporting business analytics to assess workforce, technical, and financial needs. Ability to develop strategic plans and predictive tools for over-the-horizon resource needs.

Ability to qualify for a government-issued security clearance, if required.

Education Requirements

Bachelors Degree in Business Administration or similar field required

Masters in Business Administration (MBA) preferred
