There are hundreds of opportunities to make your mark on technology and life at American Express. Heres just some of what youll be doing:
* Work with Product and Engineering to specify, design, develop, and implement DevOps frameworks and solutions. Including but not limited to, continuous integration/continuous deployment pipelines, cloud deployment/management strategies, and various levels of automation
* Create processes, tools, and workflows that enable high level of productivity and effectiveness
* Developing best-in-class technical operations centered functions for the overall monitoring, alerting, management and escalation of all merchant technology services (Predictive and Proactive Vs Reactive)
* Support modern technology stack for Engineering team that will deliver new product for continuous rapid agile release cycles (incl. Development, Operations, Database and Infrastructure)
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent is required
* At least 2-4 years of experience in the following areas
* Extensive experience with core Java with development knowledge on frameworks such as Java Spring Boot/Vert.X, React.js.
* Development experience in Java, RESTful APIs along with sound knowledge on databases including modern NoSQL DBs like MongoDB, Redis, Cassandra, etc.
* Development experience on Containers (Docker)
* Experience in CICD tools (Jenkins, SonarQube, XL Release) will be a good plus
* Experience in open source automation frameworks such as Wiremock, RestAssured, Spock/Geb, Selenium, Cucumber is a plus
