Amazon Worldwide Operations is looking for Program Managers with a strong delivery record and proven project management experience to own strategic, tactical, cross-functional and technology projects and programs within Amazon Transportation Services. These roles require scoping and creating project plans, developing processes, coordinating and driving execution, and communicating to senior management on status, risks and process/product changes. Cross-team coordination, project management and executive presentation skills are essential. This role will be virtual with a home site assigned in one of our locations in North America and will require approximately 25% travel within the United States.

Key Responsibilities
Manage new and existing new launch programs, successfully delivering difficult projects and goals across multiple organizations
Work directly with external providers, customers, and partner teams to craft and deliver scalable solutions
Partner with other program managers to secure resources, scope efforts, set project priorities and milestones and drive delivery
Own program communication, accelerating progress by driving crisp and timely decisions, clearing blockers (e.g., path to green), escalating as appropriate
Influence design and development of strategic processes
Work with program managers and business leaders to communicate and impact critical business initiatives
Develop, implement, and govern KPI reporting for a portfolio of programs, providing visibility to the milestones, and performance across all projects and using this data to drive/influence business decisions
Engage other Amazon business units globally to share best practices and improve end to end outcomes for Amazon customers
Manage post-launch support plans (e.g., post-mortem, issue/ticket management, etc.) and look for opportunities to improve program quality and operational excellence
Maintain the overall project schedule that enables the teams to be successful based upon the project milestones, road-to-launch tasks, TOM playbook tasks, and Go-Live
Lead and/or participate in road-to-launch meetings to build positive, collaborative partnerships among SMEs, team members, stakeholders and field leaders and associates to complete all required tasks to ensure successful new launches throughout the TOM organization
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

Completed Bachelors Degree in Business, Engineering, Operations, Supply Chain, Transportation Logistics or related field
3+ years of experience in program management, logistics, operations, supply chain, transportation, or equivalent education/experience
Demonstrated experience leading cross-functional programs
Demonstrated experience designing, implementing, and optimizing initiatives at scale
Experience with data mining and data analysis
Experience with Microsoft Excel including pivot tables, macros, index/match, vlookup, VBA, data links, etc.
Experience with analytical tools such as SQL, Tableau or Microsoft Access
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

MBA/MS and work experience in dedicated project management highly desired
Experience or use of PMP/Lean Six Sigma/Kaizen
Ability to organize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
Ability to work in an ambiguous environment
Ability to handle changing priorities and use good judgment when working in stressful situations
Demonstrated problem-solving, mathematic, and analytical skills using data to drive decisions in a business environment
Demonstrated experience and proficiency in effective communication of goals and strategies across multiple leadership levels of an organization
Proven ability to influence internal/external stakeholders without authority to adopt new processes/initiatives
Strong written and oral communication skills
High attention to detail including proven ability to manage multiple competing projects and priorities simultaneously
Ability to think strategically and execute methodicallyAbility to work in a fast-paced environment where continuous innovation is desired
Analytical and quantitative skills with the ability to use data and metrics to back up assumptions and develop business cases
Ability to clearly communicate data insights to others
Willingness to roll up your sleeves and do whatever is necessary; general manager / owner mentality
Demonstrated ability to dive deep in understanding the product, our business and the competitive landscape
