What youll do on a typical day:
* Develop effective and efficient methods to meet customer needs; serve as the primary customer contact on all new initiatives and/or high-level critical issues
* Drive operational efficiencies to improve service and financial performance
* Conduct strategic account reviews with all assigned customers to assess service needs and usage trends on a regular basis
* Execute individually assigned components of startup action plans
* Participate in developing integration plans to support client and company initiatives
* Direct, develop, mentor and lead operational teams
* Establish and meet site objectives in the areas of financial performance, safety, quality and customer service
What you need to succeed at XPO:
At a minimum, youll need:
* 7 years of logistics experience
* Experience in a managerial role
* Experience performing complex analyses of data, processes, policies, procedures and/or systems
Itd be great if you also have:
* Bachelors degree in Management or Logistics
* Availability to work a flexible schedule, which may include weekends; travel up to 25% of the time
* Transportation management experience in the automotive industry
* The capacity to take calculated risks and make strategic, results-oriented decisions while accepting responsibility for the results
