As Product Manager, Service & Monetization you will help realize the vision and revolutionize how people store, access and enjoy the content they have stored in their physical devices and in the cloud. We are designing technologies that help people create, share meaningful moments, and build experiences that enhance our product value proposition, putting the customer first.
You will partner with global internal teams, external partners and customers to execute the strategy and roadmap for the platform in order to drive sales revenue.
Our service platform delivers commercial journeys that help consumers discover new ways to protect and do more with their content by delivering value to users through timely and relevant services and membership recommendations.
The ideal candidate is an experienced Product Manager with a background building consumer-facing experiences, two sided marketplaces of consumers and services (some built internally, some through partners offerings integration). The role requires experience leading highly performing cross-functional and geographically distributed teams, excellent technical skills to actively contribute to the software architecture roadmap and work with peers and engineers through technical decisions.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Your day-to-day responsibilities will span the entire product management lifecycle and include deep interaction with marketing, design, engineering and quality.
* Participate in the development and planning of monetization product strategy through analysis and research
* Drive product development with a team of world-class engineers, designers, user researchers, and your knack for data science
* Integrate usability studies, data, research and market analysis into product requirements to enhance user satisfaction
* Drive forward our understanding of how services can positively impact WDC consumer journey
* Creating innovative market and product requirements documents (MRD & PRD) for next generation of services
* Development and execution of the services roadmap
* Developing, drafting, and managing complex workflows, planning and coordinating across multiple delivery teams and against aggressive timelines
* Optimize funnels to reduce friction and monetize users
REQUIRED:
* 5-7 years of experience in Product Management
* BA/BS in Computer Science or related field
* 3 years of experience working collaboratively with engineering, design and user research teams
* Critical thinking and analytical leadership experience
* Consumer SaaS experience
SKILLS:
* Experience in large scale platform and ecosystem products, as well as experience with marketplaces
* Previous experience building products that leveraged hardware and software elements
* Consumer Mobile Application experience
* Product leadership in crafting emerging experiences
* A/B and multivariate testing
* Experience with in-product measurement solutions like, but not limited to, Localytics or Amplitude
