The Senior IT Systems Engineer position will support the Digital Workplace organization at Sherwin-Williams with technology and tools that foster productivity while ensuring data security, customer experience, and fiscal responsibility. The candidate will globally lead implementation efforts, projects, champion end-point strategies, and provide leadership for junior team members.

Essential Functions

Strategy & Planning

* Lead and support the execution of the next generation mobile strategy and identify opportunities for advancement of the strategy.
* Promote and develop Apple DEP policies for unique business requirements and evaluate BYOD and CO strategies.
* Collaborate with other technical teams (Networking, Information Security, etc.) with end-point strategy and enterprise architecture.
* Collaborate with business units to understand technical requirements and craft unique iOS solutions to maximize productivity.
* Analyze strategic opportunities and provide recommendations for projects in support of advancing end-point strategies.
* Coordinate and support cross-functional teams to advance EUS projects and efforts globally.
* Promote data security as the focus of several interrelated infrastructure initiatives.

Acquisition & Deployment

* Coordinate and support efforts required for acquisitions and integrations from a mobile/Windows technology perspective.
* Lead, support, and optimize the ongoing deployment(s) of mobile and PC image configurations.

Operational Management

* Lead support engineer of mobility servers and services, such as Microsoft Endpoint Manager (Intune).
* Experience configuring Conditional Access, mobile device profiles, mobile application protection policies, and mobile application management policies.
* Lead system upgrades and ensure the management platform is current.
* Develop support procedures that will empower best practice deployment, configuration, policy, and end user support of mobile devices within the business community focusing on Apple iOS.
* Lead efforts to maintain and improve mobile/PC management within the organization.
* Design reports, analyze data correlations, and provide recommendations for solutions to tactical and strategic mobility opportunities and challenges.
* Collaborate globally to unify, improve and expand mobile and PC processes with global IT teams, business leaders, and vendors.

Incidental Functions

* Prepare and lead presentations as requested.
* Must be global travel ready and comfortable flying.
* Demonstrate excellent communication and organization skills.
* Lead Change Management preparations and implementations.
* Attend meetings in participation with the team, clients, peers and/or management.
* Assist with other projects as may be required to contribute to the efficiency and effectiveness of the team.
* Provide periodic 24/7 on-call support of specific functions.
* Some travel (15%) may be required.
* Work outside the standard office 7.5-hour workday may be required.

Position Requirements

Formal Education & Certification

* Bachelors degree or foreign equivalent in an IT-related field or equivalent experience.
* LEAN & Six Sigma preferred but not required.
* Apple iOS Certifications preferred but not required.
* Microsoft certifications preferred but not required.

Knowledge & Experience

* 5+ years IT experience
* Global project execution and support in a large organizational setting.
* 5+ years experience supporting and maintaining SaaS environments.
* 5+ years experience in the support or configuration of mobile devices such as Apple iPhones/iPads, and Android phones/tablets.
* 5+ years experience with mobile device management technologies and services.
* 2+ years experience with PC desktop management technologies such as SCCM, Ivanti, etc.
* Hands-on experience with the configuration and support of mobile devices within the Apple ecosystem preferred.
* Experience with MDM products (e.g.: Microsoft Intune).
* Familiarity with SSL certificates in a mobile/PC environment (e.g.: Entrust, etc.).
* Basic understanding of fundamental project management concepts and experience supporting large projects.

Experience Preferred But Not Required:

* Some travel experience, especially global travel.
* Some experience with process development.
* Some experience with Windows OS deployments using tools such as Microsoft MDT or SCCM.
* Some experience with Microsoft Azure.
* Bi-lingual language ability preferred.
