What youll be doing...
The Tableau Customer Success Group (CSG) Business Value (BV) Lead is a core member of our leadership team building business value capabilities that drive impact for our customers (value realized from their Salesforce investments) and for Salesforce (renewals, growth). The position-holder addresses customers strategic goals with Tableau capabilities, and quantifies the business value of leveraging those capabilities. The role engages at executive and operational levels of our customers and cross-functionally within Salesforce (CSG, Sales, etc.). Engagements take many forms and this role is able to quickly assess each scenario and lead on the path to customer success.
Some of the things youll be doing include:
* Impact: Drive renewals and new growth impact. Provide visibility to BV impact, status and engagements for customers. Document customer outcomes and impact on success metrics.
* Methods: Update method and enablement with Tableau content (capabilities, metrics), add BV thread into Blueprint (part of what we do). Create and refine innovative BV methodologies and content that are standardized for general use. Field-test newly released tools and encourage widespread adoption. Innovate to discover the best approach to meet different customer needs.
* Enablement: Deploy to global team with webinars, knowledge checks and value map stand and delivers. Assist Enablement to customize and deliver Success Manager (SM) training.
* Prioritization: Segment customers into high, medium and low business value priority. Qualify accounts for BV engagements based on customer need. Work with Sales and Success Teams, Managers and Leaders across all steps in the Customer Value Lifecycle, from strategic alignment, project justifications, and proposals through to value measurement and realization of targeted business impacts.
* Execution: Identify, prioritize and quantify key business drivers (metrics), and help customers understand how our solutions will help them achieve their strategic and financial goals. Support with office hours and direct engagement with high potential customers.
* Efficiency: Leverage success hubs for BV dashboards and financial ROI analysis.
Who You Are...
* Experienced. 15+ years business experience in consultative and value selling roles.
* Project Leader. Cross-functional project leadership experience.
* Executive Presence. Strong executive presence and ability to lead discovery from strategic objectives to operational KPIs.
* Analytical. Technical expert in Tableau and other tools or willingness to learn. Demonstrated deep quantitative and qualitative analytical ability, including financial analysis, and ROI/TCO modeling to justify technology investments.
* Purpose Driven Leader. Natural leader and self starter who can lead with authority, coordinate multiple efforts towards common goals, and help other team members excel in their work by knowledge transferring/sharing. Experience developing and accessing KPIs for people and business development.
* Communication Finesse. Strong verbal and written communication of qualitative and quantitative business cases. Executive-level presentation skills/experience.
* Creative and Solution Oriented. Ability to quickly assess ambiguous situations and create solutions towards a common goal. Clearly articulate business value.
