Basic Job Functions:
The role of the Sales Manager is to lead the Sales and Marketing efforts for the Nucor Cold Finish Group in Mexico, Canada and the United States. This position operates at the CF Group level and requires extensive interaction with Nucors other CF Bar Sales Managers, Controllers, Plant Managers, District Sales Managers and General Managers to ensure a coordinated approach to our entire customer base (national and international) for our nine producing locationsSafety is the most important part of all jobs within Nucor; therefore, candidates must be able to demonstrate the ability to initiate, lead, and uphold safety policies, practices, procedures, and housekeeping standards at all times.

1. A college degree in a business, technical or related field of study.
2. Minimum of five years of experience in the industry with a focus on sales and marketing.

The Steel Products segment offers hollow structural section steel tubing products, electrical conduits, steel joists and joist girders, steel decks, fabricated concrete reinforcing steel products, cold finished steel products, steel fasteners, metal building systems, steel grating and expanded metal products, and wire and wire mesh products to general contractors, fabricators, distributors, and manufacturers.
This segment also engages in the piling distribution business. The Raw Materials segment produces direct reduced iron (DRI); processes ferrous and nonferrous metals; brokers ferrous and nonferrous metals, pig iron, DRI, and hot briquetted iron; supplies ferro-alloys; and processes ferrous and nonferrous scrap metal, as well as engages in the natural gas drilling operations. This segment sells its ferrous scrap to electric arc furnace steel mills and foundries for manufacturing process; and nonferrous scrap metal to aluminum can producers, secondary aluminum smelters, steel mills and other processors, and consumers of various nonferrous metals.
The company offers its products through its in-house sales forces; and internal distribution and trading companies. The company was founded in 1940 and is based in Charlotte, North Carolina.
