Requisition Summary

The Quality Assurance Intern will work with the Inspection group, Supplier Liaison group, and ISO Coordinator.

Job Functions / Responsibilities

Functions will include:

* Root cause analysis and corrective action for quality issues and receiving errors
* Participation in department auditing of both process documents and ISO procedures
* Data mining for defect reduction opportunities
* Assisting in creation of standard work documents and working special projects as required

Skills / Competencies

We are looking for students currently enrolled in a degree program for Engineering, Operations, Business or a related field.

Excellent candidates will possess:

* Strong interpersonal skills including the ability to work effectively with a wide variety of people and functions;
* Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities effectively in a fast-paced environment;
* Analytical and problem solving skills;
* Outstanding oral and written communication skills;
* Demonstrated ability to work with computer systems and effectively leverage spreadsheet and database technologies;
* Proven ability to work effectively with minimal supervision;

Knowledge of and ability to successfully apply Six Sigma tools and methodology is a plus
