Who are we looking for
As one of Nikes 12 global Key Cities, Los Angeles is home to numerous Nike employees, workspaces, distribution centers, elite athletes, influencers, major events, and product launches. Based out of Nikes LAHQ, the LA Security Manager will be responsible for the security and protection of Nike, Inc. employees, facilities, and events in the greater LA metropolitan area, working in partnership with regionally-based Nike teams and leaders, as well as global teams, to ensure consistent and effective security outcomes which map back to broader corporate strategies.
What will you work on
The LA Security Managers responsibilities will include but not be limited:
* Visitor and employee screening
* External and internal perimeter security protocols
* Vendor management
* Training and awareness programs
* Incident management and response protocols
* Partner communication strategies and implementation
* Vulnerability assessments
* Out-of-state travel as the need arises
* Security infrastructure maintenance coordination and monitoring
* Event security
What you bring to Nike
* 3-5 years minimum experience supporting and managing physical security systems
* Law Enforcement/ Military experience preferred
* Bachelors Degree- Preferred
* Physical Security Professional (PSP) certification preferred
* Technical in-depth knowledge of IP based physical security systems such as Access Controls, Biometrics, Alarms, Cameras, Networks
* Analytical and decision-making abilities
* Proven track record managing public, high profile event security.
* 5+ years of experience in corporate (or equivalent) security management, security and asset policy development, guard force utilization
* 5+ years as a security leader in a multi-location corporate environment
* 5+ years of experience in customer service driven environment
* Experience as a security leader in a large, complex, matrix organization
* Proven experience as a results-oriented leader
* Previous experience addressing facility vulnerabilities and threats (i.e. terrorism) in a major city like LA
* Comfortable working in dynamic, fast-paced environments, ability to adapt quickly
* Ability to operate under ambiguity, self-starter, and great teammate
* Previous experience working with facilities management
* Excellent verbal and written communicator delivering clear and precise communications
