The Strategy and Business Excellence team directly reports to the office of the MBO Corporate Vice President and is currently looking for a Director of Business Capacity and Demand Planning. This role will be collaborate across MBO to build, mature, scale and sustain a durable business capacity and demand management process. The successful candidate will provide analytics and insights framework and cadence to support business leaders, business review rhythms and human capacity drivers. They will drive maturity, employ best practices and collaborate across MBO to develop new capabilities for capacity modeling, constraint rationalization, and forecasting. This person will also actively lead and build strong collaboration within diverse virtual teams, to facilitate the organizational change effort to adopt a capacity and demand planning mindset and process within MBO.

* Build, scale and sustain MBO business capacity and demand management process
* Establish and run a repeatable process for centralized capacity and demand planning for Microsoft Business Operations
* Develop and apply advanced capacity models to rationalize demand forecast against capacity, regional considerations, scale constraints, and new process optimization
* Collaborate with planning leads across the organization to net out the impact of incoming demand, transactional volume fluctuations/trends and holistic critical path milestones and moments
* Develop a durable process to evaluate impacts of proposed changes (product launches, policy changes, system/feature releases, internal optimization initiatives) on MBO work drivers
* Drive visibility to upstream/downstream initiatives and dependent capacity constraints
* Coordinate and lead efforts to resolve MBO capacity constraints to enable business growth and minimize customer impacting disruptions
* Drive rhythm of business for capacity and demand planning reviews with internal stakeholders, capturing key actions and takeaways, and manage action items to closure in a timely manner
* Facilitate proactive business management, communication, issue resolution, identify business risks and/or opportunities and drive key decisions
* Serve as a thought leader for forecasting, planning, and analytics to improve scaling efficiency, speed, and predictability
* Develop an annual planning and deliverables calendar to feed MBO strategic planning efforts, annual financial planning cycles

Basic Qualifications:

* 10 years' minimum experience in Supply Chain Operations or Supply/Demand Planning
* A minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Operations, Business, Supply Chain, Finance, or a related field, or equivalent alternative education, skills, and/or practical experience is required

Preferred Qualifications:

* 5+ years leading high maturity capacity productivity and performance planning
* Exceptional ability to facilitate, impact and influence business decisions and results where cross-boundary collaboration is required
* Demonstrated experience driving global programs while understanding the implications of global business and process changes
* Demonstrated change leadership - successes in leading large-scale process and organization transformation
* Successful experience in the implementation and application of integrated planning technologies, and capacity and productivity models.
* Strong business and financial acumen
* Lean, Six Sigma, Digital Six Sigma, or equivalent continuous improvement skills are desirable.
* Ability to think and plan strategically
* Solid analytical and problem resolution skills in an ambiguous environment
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to promote teamwork and cooperation
