Worldwide Marketing & Operations (WW M&O) is made up of Marketing Operations, Golobal Sales Marketing & Operations (GSM) Strategy (including Complete), WW Sales Operations & Incentives and M&O Leader, Business Planning, and Operations Team. The Group & Team

Within WW M&O, the Sales Operations and Incentive Team's mission is to Enable Strategy, Motivate Sellers, Reward Results. In pursuit of this mission the team designs and implements variable incentive-based compensation plans for more than 30,000 sellers, sales leaders and consultants across Microsoft and also enables sales capabilities, reporting and BI in support of Sales.

In this role, you will oversee a team of functional subject matter experts responsible for end-to-end management and support of MS Federal sales operations and incentive compensation outcomes.

* Senior field leadership stakeholder management and provide trusted advisory services on best course of action, areas of improvement, opportunities to optimize business outcomes.
* Oversee implementation of sales compensation plans including data acquisition. Define, prioritize and influence execution of new requirements for sales and reporting capabilities.
* Manage managed service provider responsible for business operations, incentive compensation payout administration, quality response to seller queries etc.
* Engage in quota setting approach. Monitor and report on plan effectiveness, engage in pay for performance mechanics decisions.
* Influence platform capability design, implementation, enhancement including business process optimization.
* Drive seller experience mind set across the team. Play an active role in change management, training oversight, launch and readiness assessment.
* Be part of Sales Operations and Incentives Leadership team - contributing to long-term strategic direction envisioning and execution.
* Strong people manager with capability to engage in end-to-end thinking leading multi disciplinary function of Sales Operations and Incentives in support of MS Federal.

Qualifications:

* Minimum of 12-15 yrs experience in incentive compensation, business management, sales strategy or finance management.
* Strong business partnering presence and ability to engage in trusted advisor relationship
* Effective people / team management capabilities enabling management of a high performing team.
* Outstanding attention to detail with maturity in managing global programs/processes across varied stakeholder groups.
* Demonstrate creative problem solving of complex business issues through analytics, data driven insights, organizational skills and sound judgment.
* Experience in Risk Management and Assessment, evaluating risks for business operations including identifying and assessing control design to optimize for efficiency and effectiveness.
* Demonstrated passion for MSFT technology.
* Excellent oral & written communication skills, including presentations and interpersonal skills across all levels of the organization.
* Ability to work effectively within a highly-matrixed organization.
* Bachelor's Degree in a related field (Business Administration, Finance, Operations, or IT) or equivalent work experience. MBA or Masters desirable.
* The successful candidate must be a U.S. Citizen and resident of the US. Citizenship Verification: This position requires verification of US Citizenship to meet federal government security requirements. Top secret US government clearance desirable.
