Join the Runtime team and contribute to one of the foundations that made Boomi a Leader in the Gartner Enterprise iPaaS Magic Quadrant for 7 years in a row. You will work on a combination of new features and improvements for the Boomi Atom, which is a lightweight runtime engine where integrations can be deployed on-demand in the cloud or on-premise. Currently more than 2 billion integrations are processed over a 30 day average across 80,000 Atoms! In order for our business to continue to scale, we need to constantly challenge ourselves and innovate which means we are actively developing the Next-Gen for our products. You will also have the opportunity to work on containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes. Here at Boomi we work on challenging, real world problems. Recently, Moderna was racing to develop and distribute the COVID-19 vaccine. Boomi played a large role in digitally transforming Moderna's business in order for the vaccine to be distributed.

Requirements:

* 7+ years of experience in software development with a solid understanding of object oriented design concepts for delivering and maintaining a software product

* Kubernetes experience both in AWS and as a standalone installation. Experience with persistent volumes.

* Experience in architecting and implementing highly scalable, high throughput web applications and backend systems

* Technical expertise in Web Services technologies including REST, SOAP and WSDL

* Excellent written and oral communication skills

Preferred Skills:

* Proficiency in one or more programming languages such as Java, Python, Go

* Familiarity with highly scalable, high throughput web applications and backend systems

* Experience with Azure building cloud apps and services

* Experience in IaaS, SaaS or PaaS offerings

* A Team player who is eager to help others succeed with strong collaboration skills

* Used Ansible Playbooks to setup Continuous Delivery Pipeline. Deployed micro services including provisioning AWS environments using Ansible Playbooks

Role Responsibilities:

* Be a technical leader on an Agile team, collaboratively realizing features through the software development lifecycle

* Lead in design, development and unit testing of the Boomi products including enhancements and/or resolution of any issues that may be reported

* Investigate and resolve complex customer issues

* Research, validate and recommend application architecture decisions

* Mentor other Boomi engineers, including design collaboration and code reviews

* Integral in high-level problem analysis and solution design with product management
