Within the Enterprise Business Services Technology (EBST) group, there is an exciting opportunity for an Ab Initio software engineer who will be involved in designing, developing, implementing and supporting Ab Initio ETL packages. This position will be part of the EBST development team working on several critical middleware applications like Enterprise Customer Profiling & Referrals (ECPR), Enterprise Microservices (EMSA), Multi-Channel Leads Services to name a few. This position will partner with application leads/SMEs/platform support leads to design/develop ETL solutions. This position requires hands-on experience in coding, debugging, troubleshooting Ab Initio ETL packages. As the ETL Software Engineer, key responsibilities include, but not limited to.

Job Duties include but not limited to:

* Collaborate/partner with analysts, EQE (QA), platform support, and implementation/release management teams for technology implementation of project/business requirements
* Design, develop and execute overall strategy to continuously validate performance, stability, scalability, and reliability standards
* Collaborate with developers to design/develop new ETL solutions or changes to existing solutions.
* Collaborate with developers to promote performance engineering best practices to identify/fix performance issues earlier in the SDLC life cycle
* Analyze implementations and suggest best practices from a performance standpoint
* Provide technical expertise to improve the performance, reliability, and resiliency of applications/systems/services

This position is NOT ELIGIBLE for relocation assistance. Prospective candidates should reside in and/or around the target site location or be able to commute to the site for employment.

Required Qualifications
* 5+ years of software engineering experience
* 5+ years of experience in application automation and integration
* 5+ years of experience with databases such as Oracle, DB2, SQL server, or Teradata
* 3+ years of Ab Initio experience
* 3+ years of Agile experience
* 2+ years of Hadoop experience

Desired Qualifications
* An industry-standard technology certification
* Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
* 5+ years of JDBC experience
* 5+ years of JMS (Java Message Service) experience
* 5+ years of UNIX experience
* Knowledge and understanding of banking or financial services industry
* Experience working in a large enterprise environment

Other Desired Qualifications
* 5 + years of experience writing relational database queries for stored procedures, query optimization and performance tuning

Job Expectations
* Ability to travel up to 10% of the time
