Boeing Global Services (BGS) is seeking an Associate Level Surplus Property Administrator to support our business in Springfield, VA. This organization supports mission critical government programs.

We are looking for a motivated individual who can work independently as well as with a dynamic team to manage property inventory, file property reports and support the receiving and transfers of property within our site. This individual must have good communication skills, both written and verbal.

Position Responsibilities:

- Under general supervision, receives, by desktop or radio frequency scanner, accountable assets into common database and applies labels.

- Scans merchandise to update inventory accountability system.

- Ensures disposition of assets by following established procedures.

- Conducts annual inventory throughout site and maintains inventory and shipping records as necessary.

- Interfaces with external customers as needed to coordinate shipping and deliveries of assets and materials.

- Provides information and assistance to customers by answering questions about assets and materials, policies and procedures.

- Interfaces with internal customers as needed to coordinate shipping and deliveries of assets and materials.

- Provides information and assistance to customers by answering questions about property, policies, and procedures.

- Maintains inventory, distribution and places orders for uniforms worn by site maintenance staff.

- Assists with other duties as needed.

This position requires an active Top Secret/SCI U.S. Security Clearance with a Counterintelligence Polygraph (U.S. Citizenship Required). (A U.S. Security Clearance that has been active in the past 24 months is considered active.)

Security Clearance/Special Program Access or other Government Access Requirements are mandatory for this position.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skill/Experience):

- Experience using Microsoft Office Tools to include; Word, Outlook, and Excel

- Customer Service experience

- Property inventory experience

- Data analysis experience

- Current valid drivers license

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

- Experience operating material handling equipment

- Experience with SAP software

Typical Education/Experience: Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 3 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Master+1 years' related work experience , 7 years' related work experience, etc.).

Relocation: This position is located in a location that does not offer relocation. Candidates must live in the immediate area or relocate at their own expense.
