Summary

The Associate Director (AD) HCP Marketing, P2P will be a critical role and visible leader within the US Marketing Team, overseeing Peer to Peer and KME (Key Medical Experts) tactics and strategies to drive education in a competitive environment.

Job Description

This position is responsible for establishing strategic direction through analysis of insights to drive key strategic choices for our rare disease SMA franchise. More specifically, this position will focus on peer-to-peer strategy across channels, disease education activities, KME engagement and management, and congress strategy and execution. The ideal candidate would have an expertise in developing compelling HCP messaging, have a bold vision of how to execute educational activities across digital channels, and is forward thinking about the future of congresses and HCP interactions. The ideal candidate will also have a strong passion for working in a competitive environment.
The Associate Director (AD) HCP Marketing, P2P will lead and set the direction for competitive strategy and planning within all peer to peer activities including, disease education, congresses, and KME engagements settings. S/he will partner with leadership to prioritize innovative marketing strategies to drive focused and compelling messaging in an emerging competitive landscape.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will hit the ground running to lead peer to peer efforts in a dynamic and competitive market environment. S/he will cross-functionally develop strategic plans and identify expert external partners to execute key solutions to enhance HCP education for our Rare Disease SMA Product:
* Strong track record of success in deep commercial marketing expertise, in making key business choices and leading implementation across the matrix
* A proven ability to prioritize and manage complex and innovative projects and establish vision and direction within a fast moving, challenging and competitive commercial environment
* Strong personal drive and be a highly collaborative, perceptive, problem solver and exhibit strategic insight and innovative agility.
* Strong scientific/medical aptitude, ability to communicate complex scientific/medical concepts in a clear and concise manner.
* Excellent communication skills that lead to proactive, clear internal and cross-collaboration communication

Experience Required:

* Seasoned commercial professional, with 10+ years of commercial experience, within those, 5+ years of marketing or marketing adjacent experience.
* Minimum of 4 years biotech/pharma marketing experience. Rare Disease or Neurology experience a plus.
* Ability to analyze data and insight to create compelling messages.
* Works well within a fast paced and dynamic environment with an ability to have an impact in a short space of time.
* Must exhibit leadership skills, ability to perform in fast paced environments and ability to influence without authority.
* Self-starter who functions well both independently or within a team. People management experience is a plus.
* Strong project and vendor management track record, including resource allocation and fiscal management. Acts as lead of key vendors, including assessments and RFP decisions.

Education

Bachelor's degree required; MBA preferred
