Are you ready to make that impact? In this role, you will work in a group focused on early-stage product and technology development. We are seeking a hands-on technical expert to help serve as a foundation to help build digital capabilities within the group and broader R&D organization. The ideal candidate will have a passion for innovation and a proven record developing ground-breaking solutions to meaningful unmet clinical needs. We are looking for demonstrated ability to turn state of the art digital technologies into manufacturable products. You must have strong interpersonal skills and have a wide range of capabilities, from leading projects to building and debugging prototypes.

Key Responsibilities:
* Represent and drive state of the art knowledge in sensor design and digital technologies across the company
* Drive practical implementation of digital technologies into surgical tool design and operating room sensing
* Advise businesses on technology solutions and strategic direction to drive digital transformation of products
* Identify unmet clinical needs and develop solutions in collaboration with multi-functional teams
* Utilizing a solid analytical foundation: design, prototype and test solutions internally as well as working with external partners
* Transfer solutions to manufacturable products
* Execute complex projects

Qualifications
Qualifications
* Minimum of Bachelors Degree in Electrical engineering, Mechanical engineering, or related mechatronics field is required.. Advanced degree preferred.
* Minimum 5 years of product development experience is required.
* Medical Device or regulated environment preferred.
Technical Experience:
* Experience crafting sophisticated electrical systems, printed circuit board design, analog and digital circuit design, signal processing and conditioning, RF communication, embedded programming, computational algorithms, and power electronics is required.
* Experience in machine and mechanism design is required.
* Hands-on experience designing electromechanical systems is required.
* Knowledge in actuators, sensors and control systems is required.
* Excellent communication across a multi-functional team is required.
* Work location is flexible if approved by the Company except that position may not be performed remotely from Colorado.
