Owns Service Readiness Reviews (SRR) for Product Life Cycle (PLC) Programs
* Involve in Product Design, Verification, and High Volume Manufacturing (HVM) Readiness (Phase 3,4,5)
* Support IP Strategy and Design for Protection & Residual Value (DfP&RV) Assessments
* Initiate and Complete Service Readiness Reviews for new products
* Work with Global Product Support in Implementation of Part Change Notification (PCN)
* Manage field service-related activities and reviews all system activities that will have customer impact.
Accuracy of Customer Engagement
* Support Business Unit (BU) on Wafer Fab Equipment engagements in strategizing Total Kit Management (TKM), Service Agreements and On Demand support
* Work with BU on customer requirements for Installation & Warranty (I&W) support
* Coordinate with Applied Global Services (AGS) internal stakeholders to support strategic field issues
Manage changes to the product after product release
* Feedback and review Global Parts Sourcing & Technology (GPST) parts.
* Advice Field Service Operations on new version of parts & parts obsolescence.
* Involve in Obsolete parts replacement, new TKM initiation and CIP parts development
* Owns common modules roadmap and implementation post Phase 5 of PLC
* Implementation of component roadmaps including part obsolescence, replacements, alternative vendors and cost reduction
* Facilitate Intercompany communication to align on product strategies, provide guidance on pricing, spare level contents, and restricted part orders.
* Facilitate alignment meeting for product roadmap and market proliferation
* Implementation of cost reduction roadmap
* Manage strategic vendor issues
Performance Metrics
* Performance (Financial): Quarterly/Annual Service revenue (Comprehensive Service Agreement, paid service, tool relocation), margin: control parts spending, service contract renewal.
* Products & Growth: Support WFE growth (support new manpower for evaluation project to demonstrate tool performance);
* Service operational: Monthly /Quarterly/ Annual KPIs for CAR cycle time, Parts hit rate, tool available time (machine down between failure), tool waiting for parts time;
* Customers & Field: Strategically support FSO in customer request and escalation.
