Job Description
Deputy SharePoint Project Manager
Serve as a mid-level deputy project manager and lead a team of ~10-12 SharePoint developers. Manage the direct clients, SharePoint customers and organizational senior client leadership. Manage a portfolio of custom developed and operations and maintenance SharePoint support activities. Work with Product Owners to set priorities and milestones for all project activities and works with each team to translate into user stories for sprint planning. Use innovative problem solving and critical thinking approaches to proactively solve a broad range of problems.
Basic Qualifications:
* 7+ years of experience in a professional work environment
* 5+ years of experience with SharePoint including application development, migrations, and ongoing maintenance support
* Experience with project management
* Experience with working on large IT-enabled complex projects
* Experience with recommending best practice and architectural design for new implementations in the environment
* Knowledge of Agile development methodology
* Ability to obtain a security clearance
* BA or BS degree
Additional Qualifications:
* Experience with SharePoint development, including C, .NET or JavaScript
* Experience with ServiceNOW
* Experience with SharePoint Online, including PowerAutomate/Flow, Forms, and PowerApps
* Experience with Jira/Confluence
* Ability to interact at all levels of an organization
* Possession of excellent interpersonal skills
* Possession of excellent verbal and written communication skills
* Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification
* Agile Certifications, including Certified Scrum Master
